My life is currently in transition. I am preparing to fly around the world and settle in a new city. For the past two years I have been living in a foreign country teaching English as a second language, and now the time has come to return home. I'm not sure where I will land and what life has in store for me when I return. Everything is changing, and I need an anchor, a source of consistency, through this transition.
So, I'll blog.
Who am I? I'm a 20 something college grad. I spent my college days in the weaving and printed textiles studios, and now I am trying to figure out how I can fit creativity and art back into my life. When I graduated, I immediately signed a contract for a job in another country in a field completely unrelated to my studies. I'm living my dream, but missing an important component of my life.
What is this blog going to be? Part style blog, part craft blog, part healthy living blog, part photography blog. Renai Makes is my place to write about what I'm passionate about and what I am currently missing- living a handmade life.
